DESIGNER DUO KOMIE & MEG SHOW US THE STYLISH SIDE OF VEGANISM.

Compassion, luxury and style aren’t the words you’d get to read often in the same context and definitely not together. Case in point is brand Stella McCartney. Polish Much? Have yellow nails? Simple Guide to Healthy Nails.

We all love a good manicure. But more often than not we are pressed with time ending us in a situation where we keep on postponing our manicure appointment and reapply a slick of nail polish over existing color to fix the peeling polish. This is followed by taking off the polish when the situation gets out of control to only witness the horrifying condition of yellow and cracked nails. Cosmopolitan’s Editor’s Exemplary Response to Fur Company

When a pro-fur trade group wrote an email to the Cosmopolitan UK’s senior fashion editor, Sairey Stemp, she slammed them in her email response –  cc’ing animal rights organisation PETA into the conversation. Here is the email from Stemp that was shared by Huffington Post:
“I’m afraid this email has really upset me. I think you need to be aware of the extremely barbaric practices of the fur industry. I cannot and will not tolerate an industry that sees fit to torture, skin alive, electrocute and castrate innocent animals so their pelts can be used for ‘fashion’. PETA UK can provide you with more information regarding this highly cruel and unnecessary industry. I would never shoot or feature fur on my pages.”
